No, 826 and the AABF is not the name of a new rock band we’re forming,
but a way of reminding everyone that we here at 826michigan will again
be participating in this year’s Ann Arbor Book Festival. Come to the
fair! Come visit us at our table on Saturday, May 13th, from 10:00am
until 6:00pm. Come see Pubah Steve moderate a way cool panel of
amazing writers—Dean Bakopoulos, Jason Ockert, Ben Percy and Kellie
Wells—as they discuss their latest works of fiction. Come one, come
all and spend the day! We at 826 are celebrating our first year and
have had such a wonderful time working with literally hundreds of
students in dozens of schools. We can’t wait for the summer when we
will be offering sixteen new free workshops, and for the fall when we
offer more workshops, and plan to be in more schools, with more
students, more tutoring, and students’ writings in more cities. All
