This month, Performance Network Theater has chosen 826michigan as its community partner for their latest production, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. Have you ever seen it? It’s, for lack of a better word, hilarious. Have you never heard of it, but the names sound vaguely familiar? Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are two minor characters from Shakespeare’s Hamlet, and in this play, they take center stage in an amazing blend of wry intellect, humor, and existential musings. Let’s just say: if you’re looking to do something that’s not another “typical” Saturday night, this is it.
How to do it: Buy tickets for the Saturday, January 31, 3pm performance for $10 each at 826michigan’s Liberty Street Robot Supply & Repair from now until the day of the performance. This month, our Monday night Drop-In writing students will be honing their comedy-writing skills in preparation for the post-show reception where they’ll perform their most hilarious jokes, puns, and skits. It’s FUN on top of FUN. Hope to see you there!
Aaaand of course you can find our brand-new not-quite-full-yet workshop schedule here.
