It’s official: the workshop schedule is done: signed, sealed, and delivered to Scott, our amazing webguy. What does this mean? This means that next Tuesday, September 11, at 6pm, the schedule will be released to you, the public, and then the frenzy of workshop registration can begin!

Teasers! Yes! Please stop emailing us: Ten Secrets for Creating a Compelling College Essay can be registered for the moment the schedule is released! Other things to look forward to: 1000 Words: a picture is worth a thousand words; prove it in this part-photography, part-writing workshop! The incomparable Chuck Hatt, literacy coordinator for Ann Arbor Public Schools, will be teaching a four-week personal narrative writing workshop for elementary school students! Comedic Playwriting: it’s your chance to show everyone how witty you are in this five-week master class! Michigan Radio’s Jennifer Guerra will be teaching a four-week This American Life-esque workshop in which students will write and produce their own radio documentary! We’ve teamed up with AATA for The Poets on the Bus Go Line by Line, a workshop involving bus rides and poetry, culminating with student work being showcased in AATA buses! And lots of back-by-popular-demand workshops, like Wordplay Workshop, Pocket Shrine Tales, and another UMMA workshop! COOL!

Do we sound excited? Well, we are. And we hope you will be too. Be here: Tuesday, September 11, at 6pm.
